Consoling kickstarts potentially big weekend for Inns Of Court

Consoling landed a deserved win at Musselburgh on Friday evening to become the latest scorer from the successful first crop of Inns Of Court.

Sent off favourite following two placed efforts on her first two starts, the Ollie Pears-trained filly showed a bright turn of foot to run down the colt Mister Daydream and win in cosy fashion.

Bred by Cecil and Martin McCracken, who have bred many winners by our stallions over the years, she is out of Solace, a Langfuhr daughter of Group 3 winner Songerie from a fine Kirsten Rausing family.

Consoling becomes the 13th winner for Inns Of Court, joining a roll of honour that includes the unbeaten Baileys Polka Dot and dual winners Gray's Inn and Eminny.

Baileys Polka Dot and the Listed-placed Gaenari both run in tomorrow's Listed Prix de la Vallee d'Auge at Deauville.
