New stakes winner for Persian Force as Topaz strikes in Rome

The Tally-Ho sold Topaz capped a brilliant week for her sire Persian Force when striking in the Listed Premio Ubaldo Pandolfi Premio Del Centenario at Rome for Jack Channon on Sunday.

Highclere Thoroughbred Racing's tough filly, also a winner at Salisbury this season who was last seen running third in the Tattersalls Somerville Auction Stakes at Newmarket, showed a smart turn of foot to burst through horses and win easily by a length.

She joins the impressive Amo Racing-owned colts Force Noir and Salt Lake as well as Find Your Fire, Skibidi Poppy and Crowned as winners this week for Europe's leading first-crop sire Persian Force.

Topaz was bred by Colm McEvoy out of the winning Lawman mare Wall Of Sapphire. She was sold through our draft at last year's Tattersalls Somerville Sale to Megan Nicholls.
