Welcome to Tally-Ho Stud

Tony and Anne O’Callaghan own and manage the Stud assisted by their son, Roger. The combination of the experience, knowledge and enthusiasm of the two generations ensures Tally-Ho provides all its customers with a personal and proven professional service.
The Stud is located close to Lough Ennell in Co. Westmeath on limestone land which has produced horses for three-quarters of a century. Tally-Ho has been buying and selling horses for over 30 years , and now is recognised as one of the leading consignors of thoroughbreds in both Ireland and England.
Tally-Ho is represented at all the major Irish and English yearling sales where Tony and Roger O’Callaghan are present to see their yearlings leave for their new homes.

The Stallions
Tony and Roger O’Callaghan have established a tradition for purchasing fast , precocious race horse who have gone to be successful sires. Tally –Ho Stud opened as a public stud in 1990, and stood “DANETIME”, one of Europes most prolific sires (sire of a Prix Morny, (Gr 1) winners –Myboycharlie (07) and Bushranger (08) who is now standing at Tally-Ho Stud  etc,
