The first crop Good Guess continue to be well received at auction. Our G1-winning son of Kodiac was represented by five yearlings at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale in Newmarket and each were sold led by our filly out of Mild Illusion, who made 280,000gns to Abdulla Ali Thani.

Glenvale Stud's filly out of Fine If sold for 120,000gns to Kerri Radcliffe on behalf of Oliver Humphrey, the same price that Monksland Stables filly out of Barqeyya made to Clinto Franklin (pictured below). Other representatives sold for 90,000gns and 50,000gns to give Good Guess an average of 132,000gns - a massive return on his fee.

Starman's yearlings sold for up to 650,000gns; the yearling in question, our colt out of All On Red, was bought by Andrew Balding with Bond Thoroughbreds.

Mehmas enjoyed a particularly good sale, notably as the sire of a half-brother to G1 winner The Platinum Queen who sold for 500,000gns to JS Bloodstock and George Scott.

McCracken Farm also had a deservedly good result with their half-sister to Factuer Cheval, who made 400,000gns to Stroud Coleman Bloodstock.

Many thanks to everyone who supported us - we hope there's another Wise Approach or Fairyland among them.
