It was a one-two for Tally-Ho graduates in the Group 3 Thoroughbred Stakes at Goodwood on Friday as Seagulls Eleven made all to deny Diego Ventura.

Seagulls Eleven was bred by us out the Kodiac mare Thrilled, also the dam of Group 1 winner The Platinum Queen, and sold to current connections in our draft at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale. Diego Ventura, by Mehmas, is a graduate of our breeze-up division.

Third in last year's Group 1 National Stakes and stakes-placed since then, Seagulls Eleven made all on Friday under Oisin Murphy to win by just under a length.

"I've just recovered from his dad [Galileo Gold] getting beat in the Sussex Stakes," said winning trainer Hugo Palmer alluding to our former resident Galileo Gold. "He danced some very good dances last year. He's a very generous horse - they weren't getting past him there. He's taken us around the world - the Golden Eagle has been mooted as a target."

Seagulls Eleven carries the colours of Two Plus Three Plus Four.

He is the second Tally-Ho bred Group winner of the meeting after Lady Iman.
