Kessaar colt Melfi ran out the easy winner of the Listed Premio Vittorio Riva over 1500m at Milan on Sunday.
The Endo Botti-trained colt took up the running with over 400m to run before sauntering two and a quarter lengths clear of old rival Maturlo.
Now the winner of three of his five career starts, Melfi was bred by us and was part of our draft at last year's Tattersalls Ireland September Sale when purchased owners Razza Latina. He is a the third winner from three foals out of the placed One Cool Cat mare Miss Purity Pinker.
