Many thanks to everyone who supported us at the Tattersalls Ireland September Sale. Each of our 22 yearlings on offer changed hands and we look forward to seeing them on the track for the new connections.

It was great to see Persian Force so well received again. He ended the sale with a 100% clearance rate, with 17 from 17 offered sold for an average of almost €50,000. They were led by our homebred fillies out of Strike A Light (pictured below) and Soul Of Calypso who sold for €90,000 to David Bloodstock and Peter Trainer and €82,000 to Karl and Kelly Burke respectively.

Clonmult Farm also sold their colt out of Pavlopetri for €85,000 to Kevin Ross. Peter and Ross Dyle, MRC International, Patrick Keogh and Charlie Fellowes with Will Douglass were among the other buyers to come away with Persian Force yearlings.

Starman was also popular, with no fewer than 13 of his yearlings selling for in excess of €50,000. They included Lynn Lodge Stud's colt out of Swiss Kiss who sold for €135,000 to Justin Casse and Mountarmstrong Stud's colt out of Moon Shaddow who sold for €110,000 to Highflyer Bloodstock and Joseph O'Brien - the trainer of Starman's G2 winner Green Sense.

A Starman filly also set a new sale record during Part II when sold for €105,000 to J B Bloodstock. Bred by Barry Judge, she is the first foal out of the winning Bella Caelia.

Mehmas was responsible for three six-figure yearlings including a filly out of Farnham who made €150,000 to Rabbah Bloodstock.

It was also a good sale for Kodiac, who was represented by our homebred filly out of Tropical Cyclone who sold for €120,000 to Hill Of Allen Stud Ltd.

Best of luck to everyone with their purchases!
