Stud fees set for 2026

We are delighted to announce our fees for 2026.


MARANOA CHARLIE, brilliant winner of the Gr.1 Prix de la Foret, will stand his first season at €20,000.

By the late leading sire Wootton Bassett, Maranoa Charlie was also the wide-margin winner of the Gr.3 Prix Thomas Bryon at two and successful in the Gr.3 Prix Paul de Moussac and Gr.3 Prix Djebel at three.

MEHMAS is unchanged at €70,000 following another outstanding season highlighted by the Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes winner Wise Approach and Gr.1 Al Quoz Sprint heroine Believing. Gr.2-winning sprinter West Acre and Gr.3-winning 2yo Ajfan also contributed to a year in which Mehmas was Europe’s leading sire by winners and number of wins.

STARMAN will stand for €40,000 off the back of a brilliant start to his stud career. Set to be the year’s dominant champion first-crop sire in Britain and Ireland as well as Europe, the Cartier Champion Sprinter is the sire of 11 black-type horses out of his first crop so far led by the Gr.1 Prix Morny heroine Venetian Sun, Gr.2 Prix Robert Papin winner Green Sense and the Gr.3 winners North Coast (also placed in the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf) and Lady Iman.

Yearlings by Starman sold for up to 525,000gns in 2025 and averaged almost 100,000gns.

KODIAC, long established as a proven source of speed at the top level, will stand for €20,000. His successful year included the Gr.2 Intercontinental Stakes winner Pipsy, Italian Classic winner Lao Tzu and Gr.3-winning sprinter Babouche. 

Kodiac’s yearlings sold for up to 625,000gns in 2025 while his legacy as a successful sire of sires and broodmare sire was further extended.

Top sprinter BIG EVS will stand his second season for €15,000. The winner of six races, including the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf and Gr.2 Flying Childers Stakes, the son of Blue Point was supported by an array of leading breeders in his first season at stud and we look forward to the arrival of his first foals.

Gr.1 Champion Stakes winner KING OF STEEL will stand his second season for €15,000. The highest-rated son of Wootton Bassett at stud in Europe, King Of Steel was also successful in the Gr.2 King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot for Amo Racing. He was well supported by leading breeders in his first season at stud and we look forward to the arrival of his first foals.

Gr.1 Prix Jean Prat winner GOOD GUESS will stand for €12,500. By well regarded sire of sires Kodiac, Good Guess was a 420,000gns yearling himself and his first foals were well received at Goffs this week, selling for up to €150,000, €125,000, €105,000, €100,000 etc.

PERSIAN FORCE will stand for €10,000. By our own Mehmas, Persian Force was a top-class and tough two-year-old whose performances for Amo Racing included wins in the Gr.2 July Stakes and Brocklesby Stakes and placings in the Gr.1 Phoenix Stakes, Gr.1 Prix Morny and Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes.

Persian Force’s yearlings sold for up 200,000gns in 2025 and are in the hands of a number of leading trainers including Richard Hannon, Clive Cox, Karl Burke, Richard Fahey, John Quinn, David O’Meara etc.
