Tally-Ho breezer is latest winner for Persian Force

A productive spell for Persian Force, Europe's leading first-crop sire, continued on Wednesday as My Maria, bred and sold by Tally-Ho Stud, landed a deserved win at Wolverhampton.

The Archie Watson-trained filly scored by a half-a-length in the colours of Middleham Park Racing, who purchased her from us at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale.

Out of the winning Kodiac mare Hello Brigette, she becomes the 18th winner for Persian Force, for whom recent days have also featured wins by Henley On Thames in a valuable nursery at York's Ebor meeting and Nicely at Chester. His collection of winners is headed by the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes heroine Pershaada.
