Fresh from an across-the-card double on Sunday, Starman was represented by yet another exciting winner in Stars Will Shine, the easy winner of the maiden at Down Royal on Monday.
Trained by Noel Meade for Sabina Kelly, the filly stretched clear of fellow Starman filly Celestial Siren to lead home a one-two for her leading young sire.
"She did things nicely at home before she ran in Cork and Ben (Coen) liked her a lot, she came home well and she caught the eye," said jockey Colin Keane. "She was good there today.
"I think she could progress to that (being a stakes filly), she has the right attitude and she is going the right way. The temperament (of Starman progeny) seems to die for, they are straightforward and they want to please you - that's what she is."
Stars Will Shine was bred by Kelly Equine Services out of Vital Body, by Gold Away.
