Mehmas is on fire!
No sooner had our champion first-crop sire elect fired in a landmark 50th winner, then another came his way in the form of BERTA, who broke her maiden at Naples on Thursday.
The filly becomes the 51st winner for Mehmas.
Berta was bred here at Tally-Ho out of the Listed-placed Shoshoni Wind, by Sleeping Indian. She was purchased by SSIM Srl for €13,000 at the 2019 Goffs Sportsman's Sale.
Mehmas's first 51 winners are headed by Middle Park Stakes hero Supremacy and Gimcrack Stakes scorer Minzaal.
Mehmas will stand for €25,000 in 2021.
