€160,000 filly for Inns Of Court at Goresbridge

The progeny of Inns Of Court proved popular at the Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Sale on Friday, with a sizeable draft led by a filly who sold for €160,000 to trainer Michael O'Callaghan (pictured below).

A half-sister to the talented Cotai Glory colt King X J and out of the Sea The Stars mare Star Of Kings, the filly was the highlight of our draft and helped contribute to a sale average of nearly €45,000 for Inns Of Court.

Others by the sire included our colt out of Perfect Venture who sold for €100,000 to Shamrock Thoroughbreds.

Egmont Stud also sold an Inns Of Court colt out of Question for €62,000 to Nick Bradley and Craig Lidster while G. S. Bloodstock's colt out of Misfortunate was snapped up by Gavin Cromwell for €52,000.

Mehmas' draft, meanwhile, was topped by the sale of a colt out of Duniatty for €90,000 to Peter Nolan and Noel Meade.

Many thanks to everyone who supported our draft this week, namely Blandford Bloodstock, LDS Bloodstock, GS Bloodstock, Peter Trainor, Jack Cantillon, Valfredo Valiani, Giuffrida Antonio, Gay Kelleway, Quirke Bloodstock, Francois Monfort and Ahmad Hadi Almutairi in addition to Michael O'Callaghan. This year's Tally-Ho breezers already include the Group 3-placed Navassa Island (by Territories) and the winning debutant Hala Emaaraty (by Kodiac) and we hope this week's draft provides more of the same.
