The win of Dragon Force capped an excellent day for Persian Force on Wednesday that provided plenty of encouragement for the season ahead.
Dragon Force, a first-crop son of Persian Force, made the perfect start to his career for Anoj Don and Daniel MacAuliffe when taking his debut at La Teste for Amy Murphy. The youngster was bred by Anthony Kirwan out of Listed winner Kerasona and is a graduate of the Goffs November Sale.
His win followed hot on the heels of a noteworthy day at the Goffs Breeze-Up in Doncaster for Persian Force that included two six-figure lots.
They included Diamond Stables' colt out of University, who will carry the same Amo Racing colours as his sire after selling for £125,000.
Amo also purchased Greenhills Farm's filly out of Kakashan for £95,000.
Meanwhile, our filly out of Soul Of Calypso was sold for £105,000 to Sayed Hamish and Jamie Piggott.
In all, Persian Force ended the sale with an average of £55,612 for nine sold.
