Tough Mehmas filly Amorevole bagged her second stakes win on Sunday when successful in the Listed Premio Divino Amore at Capannelle.
In a busy campaign, the Con Marnane-bred filly had previously struck in Listed Premio Ubaldo Pandolfi at Rome and again showed a game attitude on Sunday to defeat old foe Royal Grey in an exciting finish.
“She is very fast and consistent," trainer Bruno Grizzetti told the EBN. "I am very happy with her. She has run eight times, winning two Listeds and finishing second in the Group 3 Premio Primi Passi. Next season I intend to campaign her over sprint trips.”
Amorevole was a 30,000gns purchase by Marco Bozzi Bozzi at the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale. She was bred by Con Marnane out of the winning Creme De Creme, by Rio De La Plata.
