Galileo Gold colt Uncs, bred by Tally-Ho Stud, defied top weight to land his second race, a novice at Redcar on Sunday.
Previously an impressive debut winner in the colours of Amo Racing at Beverley for George Boughey, Uncs showed a battling attitude under Rossa Ryan to score in cosy fashion.
Uncs was purchased by Aguiar Bloodstock out of our draft at last year’s Tattersalls Ireland September Sale. He is a half-brother to five winners, including the Listed-placed Lexington Grace, and out of the Silver Charm mare Bronze Baby.
Galileo Gold’s exciting first crop also includes Listed National Stakes scorer Ebro River, Listed Empress Stakes heroine System and the Group 3-placed Oscula.
