The first foals by Good Guess were quick to make an impact at Goffs this week, selling for up to €150,000 and an average of almost €45,000.
Four of his lots made six figures headed by a colt out of Euthenia who was sold by his breeder Knockartan House Stud for €150,000 to Chauvigny Global Equine. The colt is a half-brother to four winners including the Listed scorer Zweig.

Chauvigny Global Equine also went to €105,000 for Roundhill Stud's colt out of Ladywood, sold through Abbeville Stud, and €70,000 for one of the highlights of Thursday's session, a filly out of Cool Leader.
"She is a lovely filly," said Sebastien Desmontils after signing for the filly out of Cool Leader. "We have seen quite a few nice ones by Good Guess and bought two yesterday.
"We've been very impressed with the way they look from day one through to today. We were beaten on the first day and then had to be a little stronger to be able to secure a couple of them. The pinhookers seem to be very keen on them which is a good thing.
"They'll be racing in France for Mr Saito who raced Good Guess. We're very happy to be able to support the stallion in Ireland because Irish breeders have been supporting him strongly - the breeders have done a very good job because a lot of them look very well. And we'll try to do the same next year. The owner is very keen to support his stallions."
AM Thoroughbreds' colt out of Runaway Sparkle also attracted attention, selling for €125,000 to Ballyphilip Stud. Bred by Gestut Kussaberg, the colt is a half-brother to three winners including Group 2 scorer Real Appeal.
