Fresh from a successful debut at the Goffs November Sale, the first foals by Good Guess were again well received at last week's Tattersalls December Foal Sale.
His draft was headed by a filly from AM Thoroughbreds who was sold for 100,000gns to Flash Conroy of Glenvale Stud. Bred by W. Maxwell Ervine, she is a half-sister to the American stakes winners Illegal Smile and out of the Iffraaj mare Fine If, a half-sister to Group 2 winner Galeota from the family of Charyn.
Good Guess was also represented by a colt out of Dusty Red who sold by Salcey Forest Stud for 65,000gns to Mags O'Toole.
In all, 15 of his foals sold for an average of around 33,000gns.
Good Guess was the brilliant winner of the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat. By sire of sires Kodiac, he will stand for €12,500 in 2026.
