Group 3 winner for Inns Of Court

Inns Of Court fired in another stakes winner on Saturday when Anshoda captured the Group 3 Prestige Stakes at Goodwood.

The Dave Loughnane-trained filly had changed hands to Team Valor and Gary Barber following her second in the Star Stakes and thus provided an immediate return on Saturday, showing a brave attitude to push through horses and win going away from Duty First.

The Racing Post wrote: "She had to battle to find room but was tenacious against bigger rivals and galloped out strongly, suggesting that she will stay a mile. A Lingfield maiden winner on debut, she had been runner-up in the Star Stakes at Sandown since, both on a sound surface but has stepped-up on that form with this performance. She has entries in the Rockfel Stakes and Fillies' Mile."

Now the winner of two of three starts, Anshoda hails from the same crop as other high-class Inns Of Court 2yos The Strikin Viking and Mighty Eriu. Inns Of Court is responsible for eight stakes horses in total.

Anshoda was bred by the SIlk Fan Syndicate out Silk Fan, a daughter of Unfuwain who is the dam of seven other winners.
