Gutsy Inns Of Court filly Eminny makes it two from three

Inns Of Court filly Eminny followed up her recent win at Beverley with a gutsy success in nursery company at Leicester on Thursday to make it two from three for Michael Appleby.

The filly answered every call from Rossa Ryan to run down Watcha Matey to win in cosy fashion.

"Eminny travelled great into the race," Rossa Ryan told Racing TV. "She was green and I was just running around in front but she stuck it out well. She stuck her head down when I needed her and she did it well. She still has a lot to learn and she’s a good, honest, genuine filly."

One of nine winners by Inns Of Court, Eminny was bred by us out of the Giant's Causeway mare Emeriya, a daughter of Group 3 winner Emiyna. She was sold by us at Book 2 of the Tattersalls October Sale to Rabbah Bloodstock, who resold her to current connections as a Tattersalls Craven breezer.

A top-class horse, Inns Of Court's career spanned four seasons in France for Godolphin and Andre Fabre and featured seven wins ranging from the Group 2 Prix du Gros-Chene over 5f to the Group 3 Prix de la Porte Maillot over 7f.

The son of Invincible Spirit stands for €5,000.
