Tally-Ho breezer Volatile Analyst gained a deserved stakes breakthrough on Saturday when the game winner of the Listed Cammidge Trophy at Doncaster.
The son of Distorted Humor, who was winning for the sixth time for trainer Keith Dalgleish, was offered by us at the 2019 Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale and knocked down to Noel Meade for €54,000.
"Volatile Analyst is such a talented horse," said jockey Callum Rodriguez. "He's won a couple of good ones now and it's nice that he's done it at this level because we've always held him in high regard. Hopefully he can have a good year.
"I was always pretty confident through the race, he got into a lovely rhythm and I know that he stays the extra furlong. The further he went through the race, the better he was getting. I always felt like I was getting on top. He's really coming into himself and if he can keep on going like that hopefully there might just be a big one in him."
He continues a good run for us with breeze-up horses; other current high-flying breezers prepared at Tally-Ho include Perfect Power, Maglev, Spanish Mission and Spycatcher.
