Nardos is latest stakes winner for Kodiac

Nardos ran out the wide-margin win of the Listed Ruibaiyat - Grover Munchner Herbst-Preis at Munich on Saturday to become the 107th stakes winner for Kodiac.

Bred by Gestut Brummerhof, Eckhard Sauren's 3yo has kept good company for trainer Henk Grewe since breaking his maiden first time out last year at Hanover, notably when fourth in the Group 2 Oettingen-Rennen.

On Saturday, he scored by nearly four lengths to break through in stakes company.

He is out of the Areion mare Namera, also dam of Group 3 winner Namos.
