New stakes success for Kodiac win machine Aphelios

Kodiac's champion Scandinavian sprinter Aphelios was back in the news again on Sunday when making it back-to-back wins the Listed Pramms Memorial at Jagersro.

It was a ninth stakes win for Aphelios, who joined owners Hasby Vast when bought by Walter Buick at the 2023 Autumn Horses In Training Sale.

He was particularly successful in 2025 when his wins included the Listed Pramms Memorial, Polar Cup, Bro Park Varsptint and Zawawi Cup.

Bred by Kingwood Stud, he is out of the Singspiel mare Homily.
