New winner caps big week for Persian Force

Persian Force continues to fire in the winners. On Saturday, it was the turn of Amo Racing's Henley On Thames to shine, with the colt landing a deserved success in the 6f novice at Hamilton Park for Kevin Philippart de Foy.

In the process he became the 16th winner for Persian Force.

The colt, bred by The University Partnership and sold by Diamond Stables to his current connections for £125,000 as a Goffs Doncaster breezer, showed a great attitude to make all and win easily by just over two lengths under Sam James.

Henley On Thames is the first foal out of the Siyouni mare University, a relation to the quick fillies Beauty Bright and Dietrich from the excellent Chimes Of Freedom family.

His win arrives in the same week that Persian Force's daughter Pershaada won the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood. Another representative, Dubai Champion, ran second in Goodwood's 6f nursery.
