Inns Of Court was on the mark again with his first-crop on Thursday when Burdett ran out the game winner of the two-year-old maiden at Ffos Las.
Making only his second start, the Jack Channon-trained colt overhauled Chequers Court to win by a nose and become the 20th winner for his sire.
Burdett was bred by Highfort Stud out of Abiquiu, a Roderic O'Connor half-sister to the Group 1 performer Ivawood.
He joins multiple winners Lia Fail, Tropical Island, Eminny and Baileys Polka Dot, as well as the stakes-placed Gaenari, as quality performers from the first crop of Inns Of Court
