With three six-figure lots and another seven to make in excess of €50,000, Starman ended the Tattersalls Ireland Breeze-Up Sale on Friday as its leading sire.

Overall, 17 2yos by Starman sold for an average of €60,647. They were led by a colt out of Elusive Gold, for whom Anthony Stroud signed at €160,000 out of the Oak Tree Farm draft.

A pair of Tally-Ho breezers by Starman also broke the €100,000 barrier, with our filly out of Vociferous Marina selling for €115,000 to Osborne Lodge Racing and our colt out of Emadee making €110,000 to JS Bloodstock, Ed Dunlop and Pythia Sports.

On the latter, Billy Jacksons Stops said: "He is going to a client with Ed Dunlop, he came up good on the numbers that we work on with Pythia Sports, and he is a lovely big horse. The order was for something big and scopey that we can enjoy for a few years, and hopefully he can do the job. He is one we spotted from a way out."

It was also an excellent day for Cotai Glory whose daughter out of Bourbon Edition was sold early on in proceedings by Brown Island Stables for €165,000 to Anthony Stroud on behalf of KHK Racing.

"She is for Sheikh Duaij [Al Khalifa]," said Stroud. "She did a very good breeze, she is very well-balanced, she met the criteria, and is from a very good and very shrewd consignor."

Our Cotai Glory colt out of Give Me A Squeeze was also well recevied, selling for €70,000 to Pompey Ventures.

We were delighted to end the sale as leading vendor. We wish everyone the best of luck with their purchases.
