Tally-Ho bred Galileo Gold colt makes impressive winning debut

Bruno's Gold made a striking winning debut at Newcastle on Tuesday to become the latest first-crop winner for Galileo Gold.

Bred here at Tally-Ho Stud, Middleham Park Racing's Bruno's Gold was well backed to make a winning start to his career for Archie Watson and having travelled strongly in the hands of Hollie Doyle, ran on well to justify those hopes in authoritative style.

The 27th winner for Galileo Gold, Bruno's Gold is a half-brother to a winner and out of Please Me, a Teofilo relation to top sprinter and producer Cassandra Go. He was purchased by Blandford Bloodstock out of our draft at Book 1 of the 2020 Tattersalls October Sale.

Galileo Gold's outstanding first crop includes the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes winner Ebro River as well as the tough Group 3-winning filly Oscula. She could be one of two runners for Galileo Gold in the upcoming Saudi Derby at Riyadh alongside Group 3-placed The Wizard Of Eye.
