It was a Tally-Ho bred and sold one-two in the Listed National Stakes at Sandown on Thursday evening as Where Love Lives came out on top over Adaay Of Scarlett.

Where Love Lives, who was making it two out of two for owners J Blackburn and partner, was purchased by his trainer Kevin Ryan and Stephen Hillen from our draft at the Goffs Premier Sale in Doncaster. The son of Cotai Glory is out of Weatherbys Super Sprint heroine Bettys Hope.

Adaay Of Scarlett, by Mehmas, was purchased by Manor House Stables with SackvilleDonald from us at the Tattersalls Ireland September Sale. Trained by Hugo Palmer, he was the impressive winner of his debut at Newmarket's Craven meeting before following up in a hot race at Ascot.

Both now head to Royal Ascot with live chances.

"It just took me a bit of time to get there," said jockey Kevin Stott. "This track finds them out a bit, and I had to get him rebalanced. But Where Love Lives just tough and has got bags of speed.

"He's genuine. He's a bit of a boy but I got him down to the start nice and relaxed. He jumped a bit left, being drawn eight, but he was quick into stride. I really liked how he put his head down inside the final furlong.

"I can't see why he wouldn't be a Royal Ascot horse. He won his maiden very nicely and has gone and won this very nicely. He's a big horse and still learning. He's got bags of speed and will take another step forward from this - he's learned a lot."

Many congratulations to all connections.
