Another day, another winner for Persian Force!

His flying start continued on Friday as Pershaada, bred by Tally-Ho Stud, ran out the authoritative winner of the 5f novice at Goodwood. The Richard Hannon-trained filly bumped into Kodiac's subsequent Listed winner Love A Giggle when second at Southwell but made no mistake this time, sweeping down the outside under Sean Levey to win easily.

"There's every chance Pershaada will go to Royal Ascot," said Richard Hannon. "I was so disappointed when she was beaten at Southwell. I remember thinking if she's no good then the rest of them, at home, aren't much. She's back to what I was saying she was and all those nice races are an option now."

Many congratulations to Middleham Park Racing and Peter & Ross Doyle, who bought her from us at last year's Tattersalls October Book 1 Sale.

Her win followed swift on the heels of Persian Land's debut victory at Haydock Park for Persian Force the previous day. Noble Raider also impressed at Doncaster on Saturday while Persian Spring won a traditionally competitive novice at York, also for Richard Hannon.

Persian Force's haul of winners also includes the well-regarded Force Noir and Immortal Guard while What A Girl Wants has been Listed-placed.
