The Mehmas bandwagon rolled on at Wolverhampton on Wednesday evening with a deserved success for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing's 3yo Host.
The Richard Hannon-trained colt scored by a comfortable two lengths in the extended mile handicap to become the 58th winner for Mehmas.
Bred by John Cullinan, the colt is the first foal out of Mistress Makfi, a Makfi half-sister to the Group-placed Rare Ransom. He was a £52,000 purchase by John and Jake Warren from the Grove Stud consignment at the 2019 Goffs UK Premier Sale.
Mehmas' haul of winners include five stakes scorers, including Group 1 Middle Park Stakes hero Supremacy. He stands for €25,000.
