Europe's leading first-crop sire Mehmas maintained his brisk start to 2021 on Friday as the sire of the Tally-Ho-bred Mehmento, the 9 1/2 length winner of the 7f maiden at Southwell.
Making his debut for Archie Watson, Mehmento was always prominent under Hollie Doyle and skipped clear for a highly impressive success.
The 57th winner for Mehmas, Mehmento is another successful graduate of Tally-Ho's breeze-up academy, having been bought by Blandford Bloodstock and Archie Watson out of our Goresbridge draft in July.
He is a half-brother to several winners and out of the Invincible Spirit mare Invincible Me.
Mehmas' haul of winners include five stakes scorers, including Group 1 Middle Park Stakes hero Supremacy. He stands for €25,000.
