Kodiac's Seven Questions lands the Palace House

Many congratulations to Victorious Racing, Fawzi Nass and George Scott on the victory of Seven Questions in the Group 3 Palace House Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.

He was bred here at Tally-Ho Stud and becomes the 45th Group/Graded race winner by our wonderful stalwart Kodiac.

A tough horse, Seven Questions won three times last season and was placed in the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes and Group 2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte. He was a three-year-old taking on older horses on Saturday, which makes his performance in running down Vadream for a cosy score all the more meritorious.

"He's certainly going the right way," said jockey Callum Shepherd. "He deserved this on what he did last year, he was unlucky in the Mill Reef and ran very well in Dubai on his first start; when he's at his best he's good."

Seven Questions was bought by Oliver St Lawrence from our draft at the 2022 Goffs UK Premier Sale in Doncaster. He is out of our winning Makfi mare Get Up And Dance, a half-sister to high-class sprinter Pearl Secret.
