Mehmas colt Mehmento remains unbeaten with 13-length win

Mehmento, bred and breezed by Tally-Ho Stud, backed up his excellent winning debut with another highly impressive performance on Thursday to mark him down as an exciting 3yo prospect.

The Archie Watson-trained son of Mehmas won his first race at Southwell by close to ten lengths but was even more impressive on this occasion, defying a penalty to win eased down by 13 lengths under Adam McNamara.

One of 58 winners from the first crop of Mehmas, Mehmento is another successful graduate of Tally-Ho's breeze-up academy, having been bought by Blandford Bloodstock and Archie Watson out of our Goresbridge draft in July.

He is a half-brother to several winners and out of the Invincible Spirit mare Invincible Me.

Mehmas' outstanding first crop is headed by six stakes winners, among them last year's Middle Park Stakes hero Supremacy and easy Gimcrack Stakes scorer Minzaal. He stands for €25,000.
