Record-breaking Mehmas sired his 56th winner on Saturday thanks to the success of Chemeh at the Christmas meeting at Siracusa in Sicily.
Bred by Tally-Ho Stud in partnership with Mountain View Stud, Chemeh is out of triple winner Cheworee, a Milk It Mick relation to Cornwallis Stakes scorer Good Vibes.
Mehmas is set to end 2020 as Europe's leading first-crop sire by number of winners and earnings. The son of Acclamation is responsible for four stakes winners, namely the unbeaten Group 1 scorer Supremacy, Gimcrack Stakes winner Minzaal and the Listed scorers Acklam Express and Method.
