400,000gns Mehmas filly highlights successful week

It was a busy week for everyone involved with Tally-Ho Stud at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale - we were delighted to sell each of our draft led by the Ghaiyyath filly out of Shareva who made 500,000gns to Godolphin. She is a beautiful filly and we wish Godolphin the very best of luck with her.

Blandford Bloodstock paid 410,000gns for our Cracksman colt out of Dromana while Richard Knight landed our Wootton Bassett filly out of Marvada for 400,000gns.

Also sold for 400,000gns was our Mehmas filly out of Shoshoni Wind, a sister to Flying Childers Stakes winner Caturra who was snapped up by Jamie McCalmont (pictured below).

Mehmas had a memorable Goffs Orby Sale courtesy of a €500,000 colt knocked down to the Hong Kong Jockey Club and it was great to see him similarly well received here, with the Shoshoni Wind filly heading a list that also featured the sale of Jimmy Murphy's half-brother to Mill Stream and Asymmetric for 390,000gns to Federico Barberini.

Ben McElroy, acting for Barbara Banke's Stonestreet Stables, also came away with two by Mehmas; a colt out of Hateel from Killourney Mor Farm for 220,000gns and a colt out of Spangled from Cheveley Park Stud for 130,000gns.

Not to be outdone, Kodiac was responsible for a filly out of Nisreen who was sold by Lynn Lodge Stud for 300,000gns to Richard Knight and Salhia Stud.

Federico Barberini also went to 260,000gns for Carmel Stud's filly out of Princess Rose while Al Shaqab Racing paid 260,000gns for our colt out of Her Honour.

We wish everyone the best of luck with their purchases!
