Thank you to everyone who supported us at the Goffs UK Breeze-Up Sale in Doncaster this week.
With 15 sold for a total of £985,000, we ended the day as leading vendor - hopefully there is another Dream Ahead, Ardad or Umm Kulthum among them!
Two of our draft shared top billing; Michael O'Callaghan went to £210,000 for our Mehmas colt out of My Lucky Liz while Armando Duarte, acting for Ling Bloodstock, paid £210,000 for our Galileo Gold colt out of York Express.
Overall, it was another excellent sale for Mehmas. He returned an average of £60,429 for 14 sold, among them a filly out of Dame Judi who was sold by Glending Stables for £150,000 to Blandford Bloodstock and our colt out of Patience A Plenty who made £120,000 to Manor House Stud.
Kodiac, meanwhile, was represented by three six-figure lots led by a £180,000 filly out of Shama's Song who was sold by Derryconnor Stud to Oliver St Lawrence. She is set to be trained by Robert Cowell, as is a £170,000 Kodiac colt out of Dream Dana, who was sold by Bansha House Stables to Middleham Park Racing and Tom Morley.
Kodiac returned an average of £75,625 for eight sold.
As for Cotai Glory, he was represented by our filly out of Petite Boulangere who sold for £95,000 to Blandford Bloodstock.
As highlighted here, it was also a brilliant sale for Galileo Gold, who led all first-crop sires with an average of £68,875. His £210,000 colt is pictured below.
